No.1 Sandcastles is on the ground floor of a modern block of seven holiday apartments on Sandbanks’ main Banks Road. It is accessed via a secure carpeted lobby. The apartment is decorated in contemporary style and equipped to a high standard.
From the entrance door, a light oak floored hallway passes two bedrooms through to the open-plan living area enjoying a southerly aspect with access to the front lawn and visitor parking. The carpeted master bedroom features a King size double bed, freestanding wardrobe, bedside table with lamp and matching tallboy chest-of-drawers, dressing area with a window overlooking the rear of the property, and an en-suite bathroom. The en-suite includes a bath with shower over and folding shower screen, WC, wash basin in a vanity unit, illuminated mirror with shaver point, heated chrome towel rail, ceramic tiled walls and vinyl flooring.
Bedroom two houses a single bed, with a rollaway bed tucked underneath, as well as a pair of 3-foot-wide bunk beds. Furniture includes a chest of drawers, tall chest and matching wardrobe, all in cream. There is a window to the side aspect. A door leads to a compact en-suite with tiled walls and vinyl floor comprising shower cubicle, WC, bijou hand basin, illuminated mirror with shaver point and heated chrome towel rail.
The end of the hallway leads to the kitchen within the open-plan living space. Featuring attractive high-gloss cream units, the kitchen is very well appointed, like all Sandbanks Holiday Homes properties. Included is a slimline dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, concealed washer-dryer, integrated Lamona stainless steel oven and a 4-burner gas hob with extractor hood over. Oatmeal granite worktops are set off by a feature high gloss zebrano wood cupboards, kickplates and cornice fascia trims contrasting the oak floor, with the look completed by under-cupboard lighting. A concealed gas boiler provides hot water and central heating.
The dining area sits between the kitchen and lounge, featuring a sturdy oak extendable table with six dining chairs. A wooden sideboard provides convenient extra storage.
Moving into the lounge area reveals two red leather sofas with corner occasional table, central coffee table and corner media with 42” LG flat screen free to view TV and DVD player. A contemporary wall-mounted flame-effect electric fire provides additional heat and ambiance. From the lounge, two French doors open onto small paved patio area directly adjacent to the front lawn and parking area.
Outside, the apartment has one car parking space to the rear plus a large turning area, along with three visitor spaces for the block to the front. A small lawn with shrubs graces the front of the property. To the rear, an external shower is ideal for freshening up from the sandy beach while a power wash system provides the same convenience for mountain bikes or windsurfing gear. A beach hut themed lockable shed unit alongside the parking bay provides secure storage for equipment and beach accessories.
A communal barbecue/picnic seating area at the rear of the property is available to all of our guests.
Sandcastles is conveniently situated on Banks Road – part of the main route that loops around the Sandbanks peninsula via the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks Chain Ferry and Poole’s Royal Motor Yacht Club. The modern block is less than 200 metres from the shops, a bistro café, the renowned Rick Stein restaurant and the Sandbanks central beachfront area with its Blue Flag certified bathing, level beach access, visitor attractions and many holiday facilities. Less than a kilometre to the east along the curved inner harbour leads directly to the famed windsurfing and kite-surfing mecca and shallow waters of the Whitley Lake area of Poole Harbour. Less than 700 metres to the west is the Sandbanks Chain Ferry taking you across to Shell Bay, Studland and the Isle of Purbeck or a ferry to Brownsea Island.

We would require a £200 non refundable deposit to secure a booking and the outstanding balance would be invoiced 8 weeks prior to the holiday. Any bookings made within 8 weeks of the holiday would require full payment at the time of booking. We would ask our guests to complete, sign and return a reservation form and and we always acknowledge payments received with a booking confirmation/receipt.

a security/damage deposit of 200 which can be taken from a credit card 7 days before your
arrival; Please note that this is not a transaction but a
certain amount frozen on the card in-case of any damages. Once the property is
checked by our housekeepers the monies are released for your use within 5 days

We can allow one dog to stay at the premises at a surcharge of £30 per week - We ask that dogs are not left unsupervised at the apartment
