No. 4 Sandcastles is on the first floor (no lift) of a modern block of seven holiday apartments on Sandbanks’ main Banks Road. It is accessed via a secure carpeted lobby and stairwell. The apartment is decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard. Inside the front door, the hallway features light wood effect laminate flooring extending to the living area. Doors lead to two en-suite bedrooms.
The spacious carpeted master bedroom is delightfully uncluttered, featuring a King size double bed with side tables, fitted wardrobes with double sliding doors, wall-mounted flat screen free to view TV, thoughtful illumination including overhead reading lights, dressing area with deep shelf, mirror and window to the rear aspect, and a large en-suite bathroom. The en suite is tiled floor to ceiling and offers a bath with shower over, glass shower screen, hand basin, WC, heated feature towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver point and vinyl flooring.
Along the hallway, bedroom two is a bright family-sized room designed to accommodate up to four in comfort, with one King size double bed and two white wooden bunk beds – both of a generous 3-foot width with built-in ladder. The fully carpeted room also features fitted wardrobe with plenty of hanging and storage space, and a window to the side aspect. The compact en-suite features a cubicle with Mira shower, bijou hand basin, WC, heated chrome towel rail, illuminated mirror with shaver point and vinyl floor.
The smart open-plan main living space comprises a modern kitchen, dining and lounge area. Sets of multi-way recessed halogen lights across the living area are independently controlled and dimmable.
The kitchen features an extensive range of red wall and base units providing storage for cookware, utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery, topped by an expansive solid walnut work surface with built-in ceramic hob. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything needed to cater for family and friends. Facilities include an Indesit electric oven, concealed Indesit under-counter fridge and freezer, slimline Belling dishwasher, extractor hood, integrated eye-level combination microwave, and concealed washer-dryer for laundry. There are sea glimpses from the kitchen window. A concealed gas boiler provides hot water and central heating.
The dining area features a solid wood dining table with six smart rattan dining chairs and matching sideboard storage unit.
Lounge comfort is provided by a pair of sumptuous brown leather sofas complemented by matching wooden furniture including side tables with lamps, a low-level coffee table, tall occasional table, and a corner media unit housing a Samsung flat screen 42” free to view TV and DVD player. A contemporary wall-mounted flame-effect electric fire provides additional heat and ambience. From the lounge, double French doors open to a balcony with outside furniture, offering views south to Sandbanks beach and sea glimpses towards the Isle of Wight.
Outside, the apartment has one car parking space along with three visitor spaces for the block plus a large turning area. A small lawn with shrubs graces the front of the property. To the rear, an external shower is ideal for freshening up from the sandy beach while a power wash system provides the same convenience for mountain bikes or windsurfing gear. A beach hut themed lockable shed unit alongside the parking bay provides storage for equipment and beach accessories.
Sandcastles is conveniently situated on Banks Road – part of the main route that loops around the Sandbanks peninsula via the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks Chain Ferry and Poole’s Royal Motor Yacht Club. The modern block is less than 200 metres from the shops, a bistro café, the renowned Rick Stein restaurant and the Sandbanks central beachfront area with its Blue Flag certified bathing, level beach access, visitor attractions and many holiday facilities. Less than a kilometre to the east along the curved inner harbour leads directly to the famed windsurfing and kite-surfing mecca and shallow waters of the Whitley Lake area of Poole Harbour. Less than 700 metres to the west is the Sandbanks Chain Ferry taking you across to Shell Bay, Studland and the Isle of Purbeck or a ferry to Brownsea Island.

We would require a £200 non refundable deposit to secure a booking and the outstanding balance would be invoiced 8 weeks prior to the holiday. Any bookings made within 8 weeks of the holiday would require full payment at the time of booking. We would ask our guests to complete, sign and return a reservation form and and we always acknowledge payments received with a booking confirmation/receipt.

deposit of £200 which can be taken from a credit card 7
days before your arrival; Please note that this is not a
transaction but a certain amount frozen on the card in-case of any damages.
Once the property is checked by our housekeepers the monies are released for
your use within 5 days after your departure. Other payment alternatives
