No.5 Sandcastles is on the second floor (no lift) accessed via a secure carpeted lobby and stairwell. Ideal for self-catering holidays, the apartment is decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard, featuring stylish and practical dark wood effect flooring to the hallway and living area,carpeting to the two en-suite bedrooms, and recessed dimmable halogen lighting throughout.
The smart and uncluttered master bedroom has a King size double bed, fitted wardrobes with generous hanging and storage space, and large en-suite facilities with shower over bath, basin, WC, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver point. The room enjoys glimpses of Poole harbour to the north-westerly aspect from a window in the dressing area.
Light and airy bedroom two sleeps up to four people in one King size double bed and two 3-foot-wide bunk beds with built-in ladder. The fully carpeted room also features fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging and storage space, and a window with a north-easterly aspect. En-suite facilities include shower, basin, WC, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver point.
The bright and classy main living area comprises a superb modern kitchen, dining and lounge area with doors to a balcony offering views south across to the sea and The Needles off the Isle of Wight, and east along Sandbanks beach towards Branksome, the Chines and Bournemouth.
The kitchen features an extensive range of soft-close units with a generous expanse of solid wood work surface and gloss finished cupboards providing ample storage and space for utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery. It is exceptionally well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay and to cook for family and friends. Facilities include built-in microwave oven, 4-way ceramic hob, fan oven with grill, extractor hood and concealed under-counter full-size fridge, freezer, slimline dishwasher and Hotpoint washer-dryer. A concealed gas boiler provides hot water and central heating.
The dining area centres on a large and sturdy wooden dining table with six stylish yet comfortable fully-upholstered chairs. A matching sideboard with rustic mirror over provides more surface, storage and space for the iPod compatible sound-dock. Sets of multi-way recessed halogen lights across the living area are independently controlled and dimmable.
In the lounge, two leather sofas are complemented by a matching wood finish coffee table and side tables with smart lamps. A contemporary and convenient wall-mounted flame-effect electric fire provides additional heat and ambience. Other luxuries include a Samsung 42” free to view TV and DVD player. From the lounge area, double patio-style doors opening onto a balcony.
Outside, the apartment has one car parking space along with three visitor spaces for the block plus a large turning area. A small lawn with shrubs graces the front of the property. To the rear, an external shower is ideal for freshening up from the sandy beach while a power wash system provides the same convenience for mountain bikes or windsurfing gear. A beach hut themed lockable shed unit alongside the parking bay provides secure storage for equipment and beach accessories. A communal barbecue/picnic area is provided at the rear of the property for all of our guests to enjoy.
Sandcastles is conveniently situated on Banks Road – part of the main route that loops around the Sandbanks peninsula via the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks Chain Ferry and Poole’s Royal Motor Yacht Club. The modern block is less than 200 metres from the shops, a bistro café, the renowned Rick Stein gourmet restaurant and the Sandbanks central beachfront area with its Blue Flag certified bathing, level beach access, visitor attractions and many holiday facilities.
Bedding, linen and hand and bath towels are provided. Free Wi-Fi. Use of beach trolley. Welcome pack for stays of 7 nights.
We would require a £200 non refundable deposit to secure a booking and the outstanding balance would be invoiced 8 weeks prior to the holiday. Any bookings made within 8 weeks of the holiday would require full payment at the time of booking. We would ask our guests to complete, sign and return a reservation form and and we always acknowledge payments received with a booking confirmation/receipt.

days before your arrival; Please note that this is not a
transaction but a certain amount frozen on the card in-case of any damages.
Once the property is checked by our housekeepers the monies are released for
