Flat 2, The Red House is situated within an imposing and substantial Victorian house in Brownsea Road, just 100 metres from the Sandbanks peninsula’s main peripheral route. Accessed through a small shared hall, the front door to the flat leads directly into a small wood laminate-floored hallway, with doors to a WC, shower room and a concealed cupboard that houses a washing machine. An arch leads to the main living and bedroom area.

 The shower room comprises a large base with glass screen and curtain, wash basin, mirror, small corner vanity unit and heated chrome towel rail, all set against white ceramic tiled floor and walls. The WC also contains a wash basin and mirror-fronted wall cabinet.

 The open-plan living area is light, bright and fun, with its red accent colours, homewares and soft furnishings contrasting a black theme against white walls and cabinets. The room comprises a kitchen with small dining area on a laminate floor adjacent to a generous lounge, featuring two black sofas continuing the grey, black and red theme. Living facilities include a flat screen TV above a feature-effect antique fireplace, standard lamp, wooden CD cabinet with Philips audio system, large bevelled wall mirror, a nest of white occasional tables with lamp, and a white low-level sideboard storage unit with drawers. Two large windows to the south-facing side aspect provide plenty of natural light. To one corner, French doors fitted with wooden Venetian blinds give access to a rear deck style small balcony with outdoor table and chairs, and access to the front of the property via a side gate.

 The bijou dining area positioned between the French Doors and kitchen area features a cunning wooden table with four integrated chairs.

 The kitchen is well-equipped with gloss white-fronted base units with white glazed cupboards above, completed with black marble-effect composite worktops. Facilities include a freestanding microwave, circular inset stainless steel sink with drainer, black Whirlpool dishwasher, integrated fridge with freezer compartment, black Indesit fan over with four-ring Indesit ceramic hob above and stainless steel extractor hood over. The themed look is completed by a part-tiled, part-glazed black splashback. Above the sink is a large window to the west aspect, overlooking the decked balcony.

 Off the hallway is a carpeted bedroom with a bunk bed, side table with lamp, mirror, tall wardrobe and a chest of drawers with a flat screen TV, and window to the south-facing side aspect.

 The carpeted master bedroom provides a large double bed with a wood & leather headboard, wooden bedside tables with lamps and matching three-drawer chest and wardrobe, and white canvas easy chair. Overlooking the front aspect is a fabulous feature bay window with striking leaded light detailing, half-height privacy nets and curtains. A flat screen TV and faux-suede mirror complete the look.

 Beneath the flat is a large, secure basement storage area, ideal for bikes, surfboards and other holiday equipment. Outside, the balustraded deck accessed from the dining area overlooks a car park to the rear with mature trees and features a glass patio table with three chairs and a white wooden bench. There is one designated parking space, however, please enquire if a second parking space is required.

 Flat 2, The Red House is situated in Brownsea Road just off Banks Road – part of the main route that loops around the Sandbanks peninsula via the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks Chain Ferry to Studland, and Poole’s Royal Motor Yacht Club. The property is 330 metres from direct access to Sandbanks’ famous beach with its Blue Flag certified bathing.

We can allow one dog to stay at the apartment with a surcharge  of £30 per week (please note that dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds)


Bedding, linen and towels are provided (one hand and one bath towel per guest) Free Wi-Fi. 


We would require a £200 non refundable deposit to secure a booking and the outstanding balance would be invoiced 8 weeks prior to the holiday.  Any bookings made within 8 weeks of the holiday would require full payment at the time of booking. We would ask our guests to complete, sign and return a reservation form and and we always acknowledge payments received with a booking confirmation/receipt.

Please note that we will require a security/damage deposit  of £200 which can be taken from a credit card 7 days before your arrival; Please note that this is  not a transaction but a certain amount frozen on the card in-case of any damages. Once the property is checked by our housekeepers the monies are released for your use within 5 days after your departure. Other payment alternatives are available, please enquire.
